Martin GPCPA-1 - Consignment
With Original Leather Martin Strap & Original Hardshell Case
Over all this guitar is in very good condition. There are however a few dings. One is in the binding on the bass side upper bout, one on the bass side of the soundboard, and the other on the headstock binding near the D tuning machine. I would guess both happened at the same time and likely from falling over. Neither are large or terribly noticeable. There are also a couple very small dings on the back. I had to look hard for those. The top looks great.
Fret wear is nominal and mostly typical 1st position wear around the D chord pattern. Nothing that will effect playablilty at this time, and a partial fret dress would clean it up nicely. The action is typical factory "Martin" set up with the Bass side quite a bit higher than the treble side. 1st position is very low but for my play style I would lower the saddle on the bass side, but I have a light touch were as Bluegrass players would want this set up for aggressive picking, which is why Martin leaves the bass so much higher than I do on set ups here in shop. This of course we could adjust before shipping if you prefer a lower set up.
