Custom Built Guitars and Bases
At Jensen Guitars do not use any plastic parts for bindings, nut, saddle etc. All my bindings and purflings are made from quality woods. My nuts and saddles are made from Antler for its unique appearance when polished (it has a look of something between marble and ivory), as well for its hardness. I use double action truss rods for better range of neck adjustments. My necks are also a bolt on style for ease of neck adjustments in the event a neck set is ever needed. I use a front and rear headstock veneer on all guitars for stronger necks as well as aesthetically more pleasing. I do not use dots or snowflakes etc, because I want all of my instruments to be unique. I prefer Engleman Bear claw Spruce from Canada for tops, and any verity of highly figured woods for back and sides. Consistent quality in materials and craftsmanship guarantee Jensen Guitars will hold their value. What ever your need, whether custom artwork for inlays, a custom instrument built to your specs, or a fine instrument restoration, you can be sure you will get the best quality service available today in a Luthier from Jensen Guitars. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to serve you. Don Jensen, Luthier and owner or Jensen Guitars.
